Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update - July 2021

Posted on Friday 16th July 2021 by James Roberts

Coronavirus Update – July 2021

Following the latest update from the government in respect of the releasing of restrictions, Sanctuary Bathrooms would like to update customers in respect of our policy for our showroom and warehouse moving forward.

We understand that many customers may be conscious about visiting locations at a time where Coronavirus cases are rising again. As a family-oriented and customer-focused organisation, we like to treat our customers with the same respect and support as we would members of our own family. That is why we see your wellbeing as being a priority while you are shopping with us.

As such, we completely acknowledge that the lifting of basic protective measures such as mask-wearing and social distancing restrictions may cause concern or anxiety for some people, particularly those that are vulnerable, and who are still worried about visiting public places where there may be close-contact with other people.

We have issued this guidance, therefore, to provide reassurance to all customers who may want to visit our Leeds bathroom showroom. Please continue to visit this page as guidance may change at any time, and we reserve the right to change any policies at short-notice in light with government or local authority advice.

What We Will Do

Due to this, our staff will continue to take every measure possible to provide you with as comfortable experience as possible while you are visiting us. This includes:

  • As a team, we will continue to wear masks whenever we are around others. This includes our Delivery team, as well as those in our office and showroom.
  • We will socially distance from you and ensure there’s adequate space when talking to you face-to-face
  • We will undertake regular lateral flow testing
  • We will keep in place the one-way system, protective screens, hand sanitiser stations and QR code systems for your use.

If you do have any particular concerns ahead of your visit, we would ask that you contact us so we can look into a solution that would ease your mind or so that we can take steps to make sure you feel reassured about your safety.

What We Request of You

While we understand that many will no longer be following these measures, we do politely request that customers show basic respect and courtesy to others around them who may not be as comfortable, as well as continuing to observe the hands-face-space guidance wherever possible. This also includes for our staff who are working hard and tirelessly to make this as welcoming and open to everyone as we can. As such, please:

  • Keep your distance and follow the one-way system
  • Continue wearing a mask if you can or have one to hand, especially if you are in close proximity to others
  • Please continue to sanitise your hands and follow basic hygiene
  • If you are symptomatic or feel generally unwell in anyway, please do not come down to the showroom. We would be more than happy to organise a call-back or chat to you via other means if this would be better. If we suspect anyone is ill when visiting, then we may politely ask you to leave in order to protect the wellbeing of other customers and our staff.

Other Ways We Can Help You

While we would love to see as many of you as possible, we understand if you just feel too uncertain about coming down. As such, we are more than happy to help in numerous other ways including:

You can also download latest brochures from any of our manufacturers on our website as well rather than visiting the Showroom.

Our website and office team are still working hard to ensure everything continues to run smoothly and as normally as possible for both orders and deliveries.

Deliveries & Click & Collect

Our deliveries remain operational and are being fulfilled as fast as we can. Please do bear in mind that suppliers are experiencing delays and due to high demand with delivery services generally across the country, there is also a knock-on effect in respect of couriers both delivering items to us, and also after we dispatch them to you.

You can also still use our Click & Collect service from our Showroom if you would prefer to pick any items up in person. If you need anything urgently or for a specific time, please get in touch with us and we'll be happy to check and see what we can do.

Questions

If you have any questions, would like to raise concerns or just want to feedback on something we can do to make yours, or someone else’s, visit more enjoyable, please do let us know.
