The Tissino Giorgio2 Soft Taupe 1400mm x 800mm Stone Resin Rectangular Shower Tray takes the hard edge off walk-in showers, bringing together a warm soft taupe colourway and a natural slate-effect finish that comes across as quarried stone rather than something moulded.

Plenty of thought has gone into this rectangular shower tray. A stainless steel grate and 34 l/m waste valve are both included, so water drains at a decent rate even under a generous shower head. Wetrooms suit it well, too; the 25mm height lets it be recessed flush with the floor for level access, or you can drop it in behind a standard enclosure at 1400mm x 800mm.

Built from stone resin, it feels dense and steady underfoot, and while the textured surface shrugs off scratches, its main strength is superior slip-resistance. That gives you a tray for everyday use that stays unmarked and keeps your footing sure once the shower is running.

Also in the box is a free tube of colour-matched adhesive and sealant for finishing the edges cleanly. As much as 100mm can be trimmed from those edges, which is a real help in older homes where walls are rarely square, and alcoves rarely measure quite what you expect.
