Few trays give you this much floor to stand on. The Tissino Giorgio2 Soft Taupe 1700mm x 900mm Stone Resin Rectangular Shower Tray takes up the best part of a wall and gives back a showering space you can actually move around in - the kind of footprint that makes a walk-in shower worth building in the first place.
The finish does the rest. Soft taupe is warmer and quieter than the usual bright white, and the slate effect has enough grain and shadow in it that most people would take it for the real thing. It works particularly well against stone tiles, timber or micro-cement, where a plain moulded tray would look out of place.
Underneath the surface, stone resin gives it weight and rigidity - no flex, no hollow note when you step in - while the textured top layer shrugs off scratches and, more usefully, stays slip-resistant when the water's running.
A stainless steel grate and a 34 l/m waste valve handle drainage, enough to keep a wide rainfall head clearing without pooling at the far end. The 25mm profile recesses into the floor for a true level-access wetroom, or sits straight on the existing floor beneath a standard enclosure. Fitting this rectangular tray is easier thanks to edges that trim back by up to 100mm, plus a free tube of colour-matched adhesive and sealant for a clean finish at the joints.
