The Tissino Giorgio2 Soft Taupe 1700mm x 800mm Stone Resin Rectangular Shower Tray sits near the top of the range for sheer footprint, pairing a 1700mm run with the fuller 800mm depth. The soft taupe colourway brings a warmth that plain white trays rarely manage, and the natural slate-effect finish carries enough grain to read as quarried stone, which is why it works so well with walk-in showers and more tactile bathroom materials.
Stone resin gives this rectangular shower tray its substance. There's no flex underfoot and none of the hollowness you get from thinner materials, and the textured top surface holds off scratches while staying slip-resistant - particularly welcome across a footprint like this, where you've the room to move about under the water rather than standing in one spot.
Drainage is handled by a stainless steel grate and a 34 l/m waste valve, enough to keep a wide rainfall head clearing without water pooling at the far end. The 25mm profile is shallow enough to recess into the floor for a true level-access wetroom, or you can sit it on the existing floor beneath a standard enclosure.
Two details make the fitting easier. Up to 100mm can be trimmed from the edges, which takes care of the uneven walls common in older houses, and a free tube of colour-matched adhesive and sealant is included so the joints finish as neatly as the rest of the installation.
