Abacus Matt Silver Thermostatic Dual Fuel Element

Available in three wattage options, this Matt Silver Thermostatic Dual Fuel Element is a sophisticated little product from the Abacus range that would revolutionise the way in which your control the temperature of your modern bathroom.

While most bathroom radiators are powered by a central heating system, this thermostatic heating element is entirely electrical to facilitate warming up your bath towels even when the heating has been turned off in the rest of your house, such as in the height of the summer.

This rectangular heating element, which measures 67mm in width and 83mm in height, is installed between the radiator valve and your towel radiator to prevent you from having to flit between one end of the radiator and the other when adjusting its heat input. On the face of the heating element there is a digital display, indicating the activity and heat output of the product, as well as four buttons which allow you to adjust these settings.

Pressing the plus or minus buttons allows you to increase and decrease the temperature of your radiator, within a range of 30 to 60 degrees Celsius. The remaining buttons control the activity of the radiator, the circular button simply switching it on and off whereas the button depicting a clockface initiates a variable heating period, which you can change from one to four hours.

When the heating element is switched on, you can take advantage of its Bluetooth capabilities and control it remotely via its smart phone application. Once you have paired the heating element to your device, you can easily adjust the temperature of the radiator as well as manage a seven day heating schedule.

With the option of 120W, 300W and 600W models, in addition to numerous alternate finishes, this heating element can be easily adapted to suit the size and style of your radiator.
