The Abacus Elements Linear 1600mm x 900mm Wetroom Former Kit with 300mm End Drain is an excellent choice for an accessible bathroom floor in a wetroom shower that seeks to furnish the floor with bathroom tiling instead of a shower tray.
This rectangular, level access wetroom shower former measures 1600mm in length and 900mm in width, with a low profile of just 30mm for easy access. The gentle gradient channels water to the 300mm drain positioned at one end, preventing stagnation and ensuring efficient drainage.
It is designed for linear waste systems and includes a high-capacity drain trap that handles up to 40 litres per minute, minimising overflow risks and effectively draining water to prevent pooling. The sleek stainless steel cover plate and finishing trim provided with the purchase add a modern touch, but you can customise the look with four different drain covers and trim finishes. For best results, Abacus Bathrooms recommends laying a 10mm board on your floor before installing the wetroom former for added stability.
