A substantial 1500 BTU (440W) warmth distribution is supplied via the central heating. However, this rail offers the option of dual-fuel operation, allowing you to switch between your central heating and electrical power. With this, the summer months become economically advantageous, as you bypass whole-house heating and direct energy only where needed, thereby curtailing operational expenses.

Depending on whether the pipework is floor- or wall-based, upgrading to dual-fuel requires either a standard heating element and dual-fuel valves, or the dual-fuel kit (including a t-piece and element) and dual-fuel valves. Alternatively, if you wish to use only the central heating, a standard heating element and profile valves are required. Refer to the required products section for these choices.
