Located at the base of the mirror face, which measures 500mm in width and 700mm in height, there is an infrared sensor switch that controls the dazzling LED lights that adorn either side of the Kai Plus. As soon as the sensor detects your hand beneath it, the mirror comes to life as cool white light diffuses across its surface. Its soft glow is perfectly suited to adding some ambience for relaxing evenings or night-time visits to your bathroom, while still providing enough luminosity for closer inspection during the morning routine.

Turning on the lights also activates the heated demister pad, which allows the Kai Plus to keep itself clear from steam while in use. Along the left hand side of the mirror there is a hinged covering that lifts to reveal concealed charging sockets, compatible with electric shavers and toothbrushes.
