This means it can be powered by either your central heating system or a standalone electric heating element, allowing you to avoid dependence on central heating during warmer months when it’s less economical.

To convert to dual-fuel, you will need either a standard or cylindrical heating element along with dual-fuel valves, or a complete dual-fuel kit that includes a T-piece and element, together with dual-fuel valves.
