This TED valve is all about delivering a slick, intuitive experience. It can be paired with any shower head, bath filler or basin spout, providing simple water activation and colour-coded temperature adjustment. Simply press the central button to switch on the flow and turn the dial to set your preferred temperature. An LED backplate serves as an instant visual indication of the current water temperature, cycling from blue shades (cooler temperatures) through to red shades (hotter temperatures).
In terms of user safety, this valve activates at a pre-set 38°C with a cyclable temperature range of 12°C to 45°C. The thermostatic design prevents this from ever being exceeded, even if the water or power supplies ever suddenly cut out. The shower turns off completely in such incidents, removing any risk of scalding. Furthermore, the control dial is fully isolated from the water valve, ensuring a cool surface at all times.
