If you think all baths look the same and once you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all, then take a look at of some of the most amazing, beautiful and unusual baths and freestanding baths available and kick start your creative thinking before you make a purchase.
1. Arne Bathtub by Rapsel
This sculptured, contemporary Arne Bathtub would not look out of place in a gallery. Created by contemporary bathroom furniture designers Rapsel, they took inspiration from chairs designed in the 1960s by Arne Jacobsen and created a modern day slipper bath.
2. Diamond Bathtub from Lori Gardner
The fabulous bling-tastic Diamond Bathtub from Lori Gardner is encrusted with thousands of Swarovski Crystals. The bathroom equivalent of a disco ball, it’s the perfect bath for all you glam girls out there.
3. Tub-E Electronic Bathtub by Wild Terrain Designs
The amazing Tub-E Electronic Bathtub is the work of Wild Terrain Designs. I can honestly say that I have no idea how this works as a bathtub but it is truly stunning to look at even if you can only wash one leg at a time.
4. Zebra Print Bath in Stone One Range by Aquamass
I’m not ashamed to admit it, I am an animal print lover so this zebra print bath from the Stone One Range of Safari themed baths from Aquamass had to make it on to the list. Now if only I could find one in leopard print, that would really make me happy.
5. Lucid Grande Crystal Bath
For those of you who like a minimalist feel and barely there design then the beautiful Lucid Grande Crystal Bath is the bath for you.
6. Shoebath from designer Massimiliano Della Monaca and SICIS
From a barely there design to the most outrageously, over the top, fabulously detailed mosaic SICIS Shoe Bathtub.
Designed by Italian designer Massimiliano Della Monaca, part of the SICIS art factory in Milan, this show stopper of a bath is actually fully functional.
7. Sweetcake Bathtub from Beerd van Stokkum
How cute is this? A bath tub in the style of a cupcake. Unfortunately or fortunately , depending on your opinion, the Sweetcake Bathtub from Beerd van Stokkum is only available for babies.
8. William Garvey Teak Helio Bath
When you think of a bath is wood the first material you expect it to be crafted out of ? No, me neither.
The William Garvey Teak Helio Bath is beautifully constructed and beautifully finished. An incredible take on the modern freestanding bath.
9. The Jacuzzi Bath from Morphosis
The Jacuzzi Bath from Morphosis is everything you could want from a contemporary piece of bathroom furniture. Smooth, sleek curves and impeccable finish, truly the height of design.
10. Re-worked Bathtub from Andrey Bondarenko
A simple, plain bathtub was re-fashioned by Ukraine designer Andrey Bondarenko using bold black and yellow stripes. Simple but very effective and in reality, an effect that we could all re-create with just a little bit of creativity.
